ABOUT US

Since 1973, the physicians and staff of Meadowbrook Women's Clinic have sustained the goal of providing women safe, legal and confidential abortion care in a professional and supportive environment.

Our valued employees are committed to maintaining the level of care that they would want for their own family or friend. They maintain a safe environment while providing compassionate and confidential care from the moment you make that difficult first call to the clinic.

All of our physicians are board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. Each one brings many years of extensive training and experience in providing quality abortion services and healthcare to women.

Our modern facility and equipment, along with the technical skills and compassion of our staff and physicians allow us to ensure that you receive the safest and most dignified care possible. We consider special needs, circumstances and differences in each woman we encounter.

Meadowbrook Women’s Clinic is a member of the National Abortion Federation; an organization that sets standards for abortion care in the United States and beyond. We receive accreditation from this organization by complying with its standards that allows us to consistently provide safe abortion care.

In 2003, a new law was established in Minnesota that states a woman must receive specific information from a doctor at least 24 hours before having an abortion. The information includes the risks of abortion, pregnancy and of carrying a pregnancy to term. This law is called the Woman’s Right to Know Act (WRTK) and is often times referred to as the “24-hour waiting period”. To simplify this process for you, our physicians will provide this information to you over the telephone.

Parental notification of abortion is required in Minnesota for minors less than 18 years of age. Please call the clinic to learn the various ways we can help you to comply with this law. Minor information page
